More Star Wars Toys

This Titanium Series looks pretty wild, and I’m no rabid toy collector like our pal, Junktape. And better yet, Transformers and Battlestar Galactica toys are on the way! I hope they offer an Edward James Olmos figure! STAND AND DELIVER, indeed!

I love Titanium, because it brought back the old Galoob diecasts from an untimely death. The standouts so far are the Death Star (it’s like a little metal raquetball), the Episode 2 starfighters, and the Viper Mark 2.

Transformers are still teh ghey, but look at their rendition of the Ark, then try and remember the Milton Bradley Star Bird:

Had to stop.  Bought the first four titanium figures and the first three ships, but it had to stop.  I managed to resist the titanium stormtrooper at Target the other day, even though i knew he was hard to find.  Turned my back on the poor little guy.  It was literally the hardest thing I’ve had to do so far this year.

Oh, and then I went home and ordered 12” dolls of Qui-Gon and Anakin for about $84 each.

    sigh.

Finally, freakin’ BATTLESTAR ships.  SciFi is a bit slow.  I love the di-cast (new Titanium I guess) they were always my favorites as a kid.  I could pocket the xwing, take it anywhere, play with it alone, doing fly-bys of my camera-eye and then freakin’ THROW it as far as I could yelling “Light speed!”
