Experience the New Seatos Adventure at Star Tours

– Guests aboard Star Tours – The Adventures Continue experience a new destination called Seatos where they encounter a pod of purrgil inspired by the Ahsoka series on Disney+.
– Walt Disney Imagineering always looks for iconic Star Wars moments to add to the attraction, and the idea of flying through a pod of space whales was too good to pass up.
– The attraction also features new urgent transmissions from Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, the Mandalorian, and Grogu, with each character’s message having a different tone.

The addition of the new Seatos destination at the Star Tours – The Adventures Continue attraction has brought a fresh and exciting experience for guests as they fly through a pod of purrgil, inspired by the Ahsoka series on Disney+. The iconic line from Lando Calrissian, “You truly belong here with us among the clouds,” takes on a new meaning as guests are immersed in the world of Star Wars like never before.

Tom Fitzgerald, senior creative executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, explains that the team is always on the lookout for new and iconic moments from the Star Wars universe to incorporate into the attraction. The idea of encountering space whales was too unique and captivating to pass up. The purrgil’s massive size presented a challenge for the Imagineers, but with the help of Industrial Light & Magic and visual effects supervisor Bill George, they were able to create a stunning visual experience that conveys the scale and majesty of these creatures.

In addition to the exciting new Seatos sequence, guests are treated to urgent transmissions from fan-favorite characters such as Ahsoka Tano, Cassian Andor, the Mandalorian, and Grogu. Each message adds a unique touch to the attraction, with Grogu’s message adding a comedic flair, Andor’s message bringing a darker and more mysterious tone, and Ahsoka’s message exuding warmth and friendliness. These transmissions not only add to the action-packed nature of the ride but also allow guests to connect with beloved characters from the Star Wars galaxy.

The updated version of Star Tours – The Adventures Continue launched earlier last month at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, and Disneyland Paris as part of the Season of the Force celebration. Guests can now experience the thrill of flying through a pod of purrgil and receiving urgent messages from some of the most iconic characters in the Star Wars universe. The combination of cutting-edge technology, stunning visual effects, and engaging storytelling makes this updated attraction a must-visit for Star Wars fans of all ages.
