Kathryn Newton Joins Radio Silence for “Ready or Not” Sequel: Fans Excited for More Bloody Fun!
The highly anticipated sequel to the 2019 cult hit, “Ready or Not,” is in the works and fans couldn’t be more thrilled with the latest casting announcement. Kathryn Newton, known for her roles in “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and “Abigail,” will be teaming up with Radio Silence once again for the gory follow-up.

The original “Ready or Not” was a surprise hit, grossing nearly $58 million globally. The dark comedy-horror film follows a newlywed bride (played by Samara Weaving) as she is forced to participate in a deadly game of hide-and-seek with her wealthy and eccentric in-laws. The sequel is expected to continue the bloody and twisted story, with Weaving returning as the leading lady.
Newton’s involvement in the sequel marks her second collaboration with Radio Silence, further solidifying their successful partnership. The directing trio, consisting of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, and Chad Villella, have been making waves in the horror genre with recent hits such as “V/H/S” and “Ready or Not.”
The original writers of “Ready or Not,” Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, will also be returning for the sequel. The dynamic duo is known for their dark humor and clever storytelling, which undoubtedly contributed to the success of the first film.
