Christopher Nolan is bringing four more actors on board for his upcoming film, The Odyssey. Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Bill Irwin, and Samantha Morton, all familiar faces in Nolan’s world, will join the supporting cast. Page previously worked with Nolan in Inception, while Patel appeared in Tenet and Irwin voiced a robot in Interstellar. The quartet joins a star-studded cast including Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, and more. The mythic action epic, shot using brand new Imax film technology, is set to hit theaters on July 17, 2026.

Christopher Nolan is assembling a star-studded cast for his upcoming film, The Odyssey, an adaptation of Homer’s epic poem. The latest additions to the lineup include Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Bill Irwin, and Samantha Morton, all of whom are no strangers to Nolan’s cinematic universe.

Page, known for their breakout role as the architecture grad student Ariadne in Nolan’s Inception back in 2010, is a familiar face in the director’s repertoire. They have since garnered critical acclaim for their work in Juno, which earned them an Oscar nomination. Page’s recent endeavors include starring in Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy and taking on a multifaceted role as the star, co-writer, and producer of the feature film Close to You, which premiered on the streaming platform last November.

Patel, another Nolan alum, made his mark in the director’s 2020 film Tenet. The actor gained widespread recognition for his role in the Beatles-infused feature, Yesterday, where he showcased his musical talents. Patel’s impressive resume also includes an Emmy nomination for his work on HBO’s Station Eleven and leading the HBO series The Franchise, a behind-the-scenes exploration of the superhero movie-making process.

Irwin, on the other hand, may not be recognizable to audiences visually, but his voice has left a lasting impact. With his memorable voice role as TARS the robot in Nolan’s Interstellar, Irwin showcased his versatility as a performer. Additionally, he served as the operator of the robotic character on set, adding a touch of levity to the film. Beyond his work with Nolan, Irwin has an extensive filmography, including roles in Rustin, Third Rock from the Sun, Sesame Street, CSI, and The Dropout.

Morton, a two-time Oscar nominee, is known for her captivating performances, and her inclusion in The Odyssey only adds to the film’s already impressive cast. She is currently leading the Starz series The Serpent Queen, centered around the life of Catherine de’ Medici. Morton’s upcoming projects include The Entertainment System Is Down, the latest film from acclaimed director Ruben Östlund, known for his work on Triangle of Sadness. The actress received Oscar nominations for her performances in In America and Sweet and Lowdown, showcasing her range and talent.
