Rebecca Hall is set to reunite with her director from Godzilla x Kong, Adam Wingard, for the upcoming action thriller film titled Onslaught. The actress, who recently premiered her true-life drama Peter Hujar’s Day at Sundance, will also be teaming up once again with her Monsterverse co-star, Dan Stevens, who is part of the cast for this A24 production.

In Onslaught, Adria Arjona takes on the lead role of a mother residing in a trailer, who discovers a dangerous threat that has escaped from a secret military base. In order to protect her loved ones, she must utilize her unique set of skills. The talented cast also includes UFC Champion Alex “Poatan” Pereira, Michael Biehn, Eric Wareheim, and Reginald VelJohnson.

Although specific details about Rebecca Hall’s character have not been revealed, sources indicate that her role is connected to Dan Stevens’ character, who portrays a German scientist working on the experiments that have gotten loose.

The film will be produced by Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett under their banner Ryder Picture Company, alongside A24. Alexander Black from Lyrical Media will also be a producer. Adam Wingard and Jeremy Platt, through their new company Breakaway Civilization, along with Barrett, will serve as additional producers.

Lyrical’s Jon Rosenberg and Natalie Sellers will serve as executive producers alongside A24. The two production companies will also contribute to the film’s financing.

Rebecca Hall previously starred as one of the human leads in the successful Godzilla x Kong movies, both helmed by director Adam Wingard. Additionally, she shared the screen with Dan Stevens in the 2017 relationship drama Permission.

Aside from her involvement in Onslaught, the British actress can currently be seen in the BBC series The Listeners. She is also part of the cast for the upcoming Ryan Murphy FX series The Beauty, alongside Evan Peters, Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Ramos, and Jeremy Pope. This series is based on the Image Comics title.

Audiences can look forward to seeing Rebecca Hall in the upcoming James L. Brooks’ dramedy Ella McCay, which is being developed by 20th Century Studios. The ensemble cast includes Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Woody Harrelson, Ayo Edebiri, and others.
