In the trailer, viewers get a sneak peek at three of the featured maps: Bounty, Dealership, and Lifeline. Lifeline stands out as it appears to be a condensed version of the popular Hijacked MP map from Black Ops 2. The Dealership map, on the other hand, seems to be set within the confines of a car dealership, while the setting for Bounty remains somewhat ambiguous.

Staying true to a discernible ninja theme, the trailer confirms the arrival of swords in the game, as revealed by an operator who impressively wields katanas in both hands. Season 2 had already teased the introduction of an “iconic” SMG, which is rumored to be the renowned PPSH-41 from Call of Duty: Vanguard.

As for the Zombies mode, the trailer grants players a first look at the gameplay on the new map, The Tomb, along with a glimpse of an ice staff. However, Warzone does not make an appearance in the video. Activision is expected to release a Season 2 roadmap soon, outlining the upcoming content.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of Season 2 not only for its fresh content but also for the promised improvements in anti-cheat technology. Activision has confirmed that console Ranked players will be able to disable crossplay with PC players at the start of Season 2. This decision comes as a response to the outcry over cheating in both Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and the battle royale hit, Warzone. Furthermore, Activision plans to continue implementing further improvements in subsequent seasons.

Speaking of Warzone, Activision has stated that Season 2 will feature fewer additions than initially planned. The focus will shift towards addressing the more severe issues currently impacting the game, such as gameplay tuning, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. As a result, new content originally scheduled for the Season 2 launch will be postponed.
