Universal Orlando Resort recently launched an exciting video that provides a sneak peek into the much-anticipated Super Nintendo World, set to open as part of the Epic Universe theme park next year in Florida. The captivating video offers future guests a bird’s eye view of the park’s layout, resembling the Super Nintendo World in Japan.
The new amusement park in Orlando is expected to feature three thrilling rides, one of which is the Donkey Kong Mine Cart Madness coaster. This innovative ride mimics the sensation of riders jumping off the tracks, creating a heart-pounding experience reminiscent of the Donkey Kong Country video games. This ride is not exclusive to Florida and is also slated to make its debut at Super Nintendo World in Osaka, Japan later this year.
Further diversifying the variety of rides at the park, the video revealed the existence of Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge and Yoshi’s Adventure dark ride. The Mario Kart ride features augmented reality technology, while little details are known about Yoshi’s Adventure just yet.
The Florida site plans on incorporating areas from beloved Nintendo games including the Donkey Kong Country and Mushroom Kingdom areas. The latter features iconic landmarks such as Peach’s Castle and Mount Beanpole.
In addition to mind-bending rides and immersive areas, the park leads in interactive entertainment by offering Power-Up Bands for purchase. These bands enable guests to partake in interactive Key Challenges and amass coins, akin to Hollywood’s Super Nintendo World and Osaka’s location.
Adding to the venue’s range of attractions, the park plans to host familiar dining locations such as the Toadstool Cafe restaurant known for its themed dishes inspired by the Super Mario universe.
Excitement for Epic Universe and Orlando’s Super Nintendo World is escalating as fans prepare to experience their favorite video games in a whole new way. Many are eager to further explore the images provided in the quick slideshow of Universal Epic Universe’s upcoming attractions.
