Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Kraven the Hunter, Rescheduled for Dec. 13, 2024

Sony Pictures has recently made some major announcements regarding the release dates of several anticipated films. One of the most notable changes is the rescheduling of the highly anticipated movie Kraven the Hunter, which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the lead role. Originally set for release in October 2023, the film has been pushed back to December 13, 2024, due to an actors’ strike. This delay has given fans even more time to build up excitement for the Marvel antagonist’s big-screen debut.

Kraven the Hunter boasts an impressive ensemble cast, with Ariana DeBose, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott, Fred Hechinger, Levi Miller, Murat Seven, and Russell Crowe all set to join Taylor-Johnson on screen. The film is being helmed by director J.C. Chandor, known for his work on acclaimed films such as All is Lost and A Most Violent Year. They Listen, a horror feature from Blumhouse, is set to terrify audiences when it opens on August 30, 2024. Meanwhile, Animal Friends, a live-action animation hybrid featuring an all-star cast including Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, and Aubrey Plaza, is set to hit theaters on August 15, 2025. With such a diverse lineup of films, Sony Pictures is sure to have audiences excited for what’s in store in the coming years.
