The Expendables 4 Trailer: Stallone and Statham Return to Save the World Again
“It ain’t over till it’s over,” and in the world of The Expendables, it seems it’s far from over! Sylvester Stallone returns to lead a new generation of Expendables in the highly anticipated trailer for “The Expendables 4”.
The trailer reveals an exciting mix of old and new cast members ready to save the world. Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham, franchise stalwarts, are back in the saddle again, bringing their signature grit and charisma. But they’re not alone this time around. We also glimpse the fresh faces joining the ranks – 50 Cent, and Megan Fox are stepping into the fray, ready to flex their action-hero muscles alongside the veteran Expendables.
The plot, as narrated by Andy Garcia, sees our team tasked with the grave mission of averting World War III. Terrorists have commandeered nuclear missiles on a cargo ship, and it’s up to the Expendables to stop them. Expect thrilling battles, high-octane chases, and, of course, an impressive display of heavy machinery and firearms!
And the returning cast isn’t just limited to Stallone and Statham. Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture are also reprising their roles. The new Expendables, alongside Fox and 50 Cent, include Garcia, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, and Levy Tran. Let’s hope our foreign-born martial artists get to do cool shit this time!
It’s been almost a decade since the last Expendables film, but the wait hopefully will be worth it. The previous three films have collectively grossed a whopping $800 million globally, and the fourth installment aims to carry on this legacy. Stallone, on the other hand, has released the lackluster movie, Samaritan, and a reality show about his daughters in that stretch… so we need some redemption here!
Lionsgate has announced that “The Expendables 4” will hit the cinemas on September 22.
