Disney Pushes Back “The Marvels”, New Poster Released
The Marvels, Brie Larson’s highly anticipated sequel to the $1 billion grosser Captain Marvel, won’t hit theaters this summer as originally planned. Instead, you’ll have to wait until November 10 to see Larson, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani team up in this action-packed adventure. Larson shared the news via Twitter along with a new poster:
Directed by Candyman filmmaker Nia DaCosta and written by Megan McDonnell, one of the writers behind the hit series WandaVision, The Marvels promises to be an epic superhero blockbuster. And with the introduction of Monica Rambeau, played by the talented Teyonah Parris, we’re sure to see some amazing girl power in action.
But don’t despair, there’s good news too! The Haunted Mansion, based on the Disney theme park ride, gets a second shot at the movie treatment and is moving up to take The Marvels’ spot on July 28, providing some spooky fun for the summer season.
