More ‘Before’ From Linklater

Of all Richard Linklater films, BEFORE SUNRISE and BEFORE SUNSET are my favorite. Especially SUNSET, this pairing is wonderful, and serves as proof that with the right characters and dialogue, story actually can come second. Now comes word Linklater, Hawke and Delpy may reunite for one more stroll around Paris.

In an interview with Vulture, Ethan Hawke says, “All three of us have been having similar feelings that we’re ready to revisit those characters. There’s nine years between the first two movies and, if we made the film next summer, it would be nine years again so we’ve really started thinking that would be a good thing to do. We’re going to try write it this year.”
