Ha – this is the first time three of us all posted the same story – therefore making it the most important headline in EG history!!!
I find it absolutely impossible to get excited about this. I have zero interest in the Clone Wars storyline, since I know where it started, where it ends, whatever I need about how it got there and it stars the least interesting versions of my least favorite characters in the franchise.
This is like taking me to the best restaurant on Earth and forcing me to order something I don’t like.
Just to bring our emails into the blog, let me understand this. You have no excitement and zero interest in the Clone Wars storyline, but you’re addicted to Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Wat’s wit u, man???
Ha ha ha!!!!
I have no idea what one thing has to do with the other, but YES!!!
Really, I said it all about Clone Wars two posts up. Nobody has ever loved Star Wars more than me, nobody would like more to be excited about a new series or movie than me. I just don’t see anything to be excited about here. It feels vaguely depressing, like a clear omen of disappointment.
Terminator is a whole other story– it’s a relatively fresh take on a part of an interesting saga that we’ve never seen. So while Clone Wars is re-treading an uninteresting phase in one story, Terminator is telling for the first time what might be the most desperate phase of that story.
Execution is, of course, in the eye of the beholder. But that seems like a pretty good explanation to me.
Berg, if this is upsetting you, I apologize!
I think I love star wars more than you, hard to say. The better statement is that I’m probably more obsessed with star wars than you. Yeah, that makes more sense. I don’t care if this show is the best thing ever or total shit, I’ll never miss an episode. I’m NOT gonna buy any of the merch, but that’s only because something’s gotta give. And I’ve decided to compartmentalize my addiction into the original trilogy, and let go of 99% of this Force Unleashed (which looks AWESOME) and Clone Wars (which looks… like Clone Wars) stuff.
I hate that we grew up and analyze stuff. I wanna go back to watching stuff and just thinking its cool 🙁
