Saw 28 Weeks Later

… and loved it. I saw the original, and liked it, but I also remember thinking it was a rather brutal exercise. I was impressed by the filmmaking and style much moreso than the storytelling.

Gotta say, I think the sequel is 28 times better. Felt for the characters, loved the plot, thought everyone acted smartly and appropriately, was blown away by some of the effects and the emotions and thoroughly enjoyed every damn minute of it. In fact, I can’t think of a single zombie (or “rage virus”) movie I ever liked better. Nope, this one may just be the best. See it in a theater, because I don’t think it’ll be the same at home. Not unless you jack up your volume to 11 (if you’re lucky to have an amp that goes to 11).

Highly recommended. Leaps and bounds and webs better than Spider-Man 3.

YEAH!  Thanks for backing me up on this one, Fat Ass!!  I wish more people would be rushing out to experience this…i’m afraid people might think the know what they’re in for with this…but are massively underestimating it’s awesomeness.  So good to go to a film and actually be blown away like the old days..when you wouldn’t really know what you were in for.

    Best Zombie Film Ever.
