In response to the YouTube video that casts a negative light on E.T. This game DID have rules, and as my friend PALTIERE reminded me, he completed this game when we were kids. It was his favorite game because he loved the movie so much. (Power of marketing / denial)

He also told me of how the cartridge fell out of his pocket one day and ended up in the street. He watched in horror as it got RUN OVER BY A CAR. After crying for days, he eventually realized that the GAME CHIP was unharmed. So by popping it into the 2600 console, ET came back to life, just like in the movie. And once again, a boy and an alien fell in love.
