Comedy Central has picked up “The Sarah Silverman Program” for a second season.
Sarah will get a seven-episode run in the fall, with another seven to run at a later date.
The “Program” has averaged 1.7 million total viewers since it bowed last week.

I wish I started recording this from the beginning, so I’ll have to have my first taste this… Friday (?).
BTW I hear she has a double clitoris.
No comment on that, but I will say I really liked the show – Fat Ass and I were talkin bout it – not his cup of tea, I’m interested to know what other peeps think. It’s the kind of show that could go either way. On one hand, some could be disappointed that it’s so broad and goofy – I think everyone expects something much darker than her. I actually embraced the tone because I much prefer Sarah’s lighter side. It’s also nice to have a female lead who’s a total douchebag, in a Larry David way. It reminds me of the tone of the original HBO Tenacious D episodes.
I also love Jay Johnston and Laura Silverman. Always nice to see them peeps in anything. Brian too.
