Okay, I have to admit that when I watch these newly remastered Star Trek episodes, I’m doing it for the new effects. After all, I’ve seen them so often that I know the dialogue before the characters even open their mouths. That should tell you something about the power of these effects. Just take a look at how much better these scenes are now, especially the Orion ship that attacks the Enterprise. It’s an actual brand-new design for the Star Trek universe! It kind of keeps the spinning red energy theme going, which I love!!

    The only thing more awesome than these images is your reaction to them.  For some reason this last episode did not record on my tivo – or are these images from an UPCOMING episode?  Journey to Babel was the first time I ever saw an Andorian – I think the enterprise returns to babel in that episode of “new voyages” that has walter koenig.  I still have not seen one of those episodes – their website is friggin confusing and I was never able to download a full show.  Looks amazing, but the acting appears to suck ruby starfish.
