GameLifeShow Has MTV interest?

The homemade video game review series, GameLife (http://www.gamelifeshow.com), has overcome David-and-Goliath style odds after several large, highly established media organizations opened talks with the showโs creators regarding production deals, collaborations and exclusive distribution. After only three episodes, the showโs amateur production values and unpolished hosts have captured the hearts of video game fans and professionals across the globe.
GameLife began as a fun hobby for three friends and has turned into an Internet phenomenon thanks to the popularity of online video sites such as Google Video, YouTube and Myspace. Ziff Davis Media (http://www.ziffdavis.com) has also taken an interest and obtained first distribution rights for the showโs E3 special, in trade for media access to the floor of the worldโs largest video game convention.
โExpect to see a lot more of this video game version of Wayneโs World in the coming months,โ says Brian Crecente, editor of the popular game industry website Kotaku.com. Viacom seems to share this sentiment, as they have opened talks with the shows producers about creating segments to be run exclusively on its MTV properties.
โI feel like everything is about to explode,โ says the showโs 19-year-old creator and host Andrew Rosenblum. โA few months ago weโre hanging out making a show at home, now weโre filming at the E3 expo and talking with MTV about doing reviews for them.โ
